GENE HOGLAN Rehearsing With FORBIDDEN: Drum-Cam Footage Posted Online

Sick Drummer Magazine has uploaded drum-cam footage of Gene Hoglan (DETHKLOK, FEAR FACTORY, TESTAMENT, DEATH, DARK ANGEL, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD) playing the song "Forsaken At The Gates" with San Francisco Bay Area metallers FORBIDDEN at rehearsal on August 24. FORBIDDEN states, "It's [Gene's] own interpretation of the song. He's following the details of the main parts, yet shows his own style."

FORBIDDEN recently canceled its previously announced European headlining tour following the departure of the band's drummer, Mark Hernandez. The band played the Alcatraz Metal Festival on August 27 in Deinze, Belgium with Hoglan as a guest drummer.

FORBIDDEN's latest album, "Omega Wave", was released in Europe on October 22, 2010 and in North America on October 26, 2010 via Nuclear Blast Records. The CD landed at position No. 27 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.
